Privacy Policy

How Trade Health collects, uses, and protects information for employers and workers on our platform.

Last updated: September 1, 2026 (draft — pending legal review)

1. Introduction

Trade Health (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a subscription telehealth platform for employers and their workers in Idaho. This policy covers the information we collect through our website, employer signup and billing, and worker roster management — the “business layer” of the platform that we operate directly.

Clinical care itself — video visits and the medical records they produce — is provided by your licensed physician, not by your employer. We do not duplicate or store your medical records in our systems beyond the minimal identifiers needed to connect you to your account.

2. Information We Collect

From employers, at signup and while managing their account:

  • Company and billing contact information (name, email, phone)
  • Payment information, processed by Stripe (Trade Health does not store card numbers)
  • Worker roster information needed to enroll employees: name, work email, and employment status

From workers, to create an account and use the platform:

  • Account information (name, email, password)
  • Information you provide for scheduling and visits, which is retained as your clinical record

Automatically, from anyone using the site:

  • Basic log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
  • The essential cookies described in our Cookie Policy

3. Role Separation: What Employers Can and Cannot See

Employers can see roster status only — who is enrolled, active, or removed, and billing information tied to headcount. Employers cannot see visit history, diagnoses, treatment notes, prescriptions, or any other clinical information. This separation is a core product requirement, not a configurable setting. See our Worker Rights page for more detail.

4. How We Use Information

  • To create and administer employer and worker accounts
  • To bill employers on a per-employee monthly basis and adjust charges as rosters change
  • To connect workers to their provider for scheduling and visits
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the platform, including audit logs of access to sensitive data

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to operate the platform:

  • Stripe — billing and payment processing; Stripe does not receive clinical information
  • Our hosting and infrastructure providers (including AWS)
  • Our notification provider, for account and appointment emails/SMS
  • As required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Trade Health, our partners, or our users

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share worker clinical information with employers.

6. Data Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access, audit logging on access to clinical information, and multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we will update this policy as our controls are verified.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the account information we hold about you. To exercise rights over your clinical records specifically — visit notes, diagnoses, prescriptions — contact us and we will help route the request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date above.
